Hi, my name is Colleen. I'm from Reidsville, Georgia, and I live in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I work with carefully sourced and researched vintage fabrics, selected for their beauty and superior quality. They’ve stood the test of time, and I design and construct the clothes I make from them to last decades, not just a season or two.

I sew everything you see in my store on two machines, one of which you can see here, a Kenmore from the early 1960s.

Generations of women used machines like these to create wonderful garments that were passed around their communities and handed down to children and grandchildren. Similarly, I want every garment I make to be deeply woven into the life of the wearer.
